①divide动词，意为“分开；分隔”，常用于词组be divided into中，意为“被分成······”，其主动语态为divide...into...，意为“把······分为······”，表示把一个整体分成若干部分。
eg：A year is divided into twelve months.一年被分为12个月。
②throw away扔掉；丢弃
used形容词，意为“用过的；二手的”。eg：To save money，I bought a used car instead of a new one.为了省钱，我买了一辆二手车，没有买新车。
There is a used glass on the table.桌子上有一个用过的杯子。
【拓展】used还可用作动词，是use的过去式或过去分词形式。
①“be used for＋名词/代词/动词-ing”意为“被用于······”。
eg：Stamps are used for sending letters.邮票被用来寄信。
②“be used as＋名词”意为“被用作······”。
eg：This room is used as their office.这个房间被用作他们的办公室。
③“be used to＋动词原形”意为“被用来做某事”。
eg：Knives are used to cut things.刀子是用来切东西的。
④“be used to＋动词-ing”意为“习惯于做某事”。
eg：He was used to living alone several months later.几个月后，他就习惯了一个人生活了。
repeat动词，意为“重说；重新做”。
eg：Can you repeat this experiment？你能重做这个实验吗？
